在上海四年，总觉得这是一座“浮在空中”的无根城市，本质特性就是流动性，因此无法像在台北、香港、首尔或东京那样，感受上海的心跳。从另一个角度看，现实或文学中那种"小资"的怀旧情调，也因总被人批评为“把上海的小片断无限放大”，显得虚假，因此我对其也有所芥蒂。不过，大学四年的最后一个学期，竟让我误打误撞地参与了卢湾区政府发起的石库门生活形态调查项目。几个月的考察中，与同学们走访了黄陂南路的尚贤坊、复兴中路的志成坊、泰康路的田子坊、陕西南路的步高里等二、三十年代建起来的石库门，与居住在里头已五六十年的老人进行访谈，才真正明白上海历史的丰富性。 提起“石库门”，来过上海的人，大多应该会联想到酒吧林立的新天地。其实，石库门远不只是一个象征上海文化的空壳标志。这种特殊的建筑，实际上是伴随上海租界的发展而逐步成型的。例如，只要看看属于旧法租界的重庆路一带市区的卫星地图，

今天在《早报》上看到您关于俞正声呼吁推进旧区改造的报道，突然想到我几个月前回上海，到之前做志愿者的“上海阳光社区青少年”杨浦区站点跟一些社工聊天，谈到虽然都是属于一个官方的社会服务机构，但不同区的站点在资源、成果以及碰到的问题上都不尽相同。一些比较富裕的区，如浦东或是徐汇，社工所碰到的问题以及所能够开展的活动，与杨浦区的社工就不太一样。这应该可以说是从另一角度，凸显了上海各区不平均的发展状况。杨浦的“三失”（失学、失业、失管）青少年的问题似乎更加严重，但我当时就提议，既然是大学区，杨浦的社工应该更充分调动大学生服务社区的志愿者活动。这方面有过一些尝试，我也曾帮他们与复旦的一个社会服务社团搭线，进行合作。但上海的社会工作其实是2003-2004年才正式起步，至今也只是四五年，因此虽然看得出社工们很努力，但社会工作领域仍旧有可进一步加强的空间。【联合早报】“不能一边高楼大厦　一边危棚简屋”

曾有朋友问我，在中国，还有什么领域是未开发的。我很清楚地记得，当时自己不假思索的回答是：心理咨询与治疗。我很尊重心理学这个学科，但也许是受福柯的影响，我对“精神病”却有种莫名的排斥。心理学让我们有反观自我、进行自我认识与表述的视野，“精神病”却容易牵涉权力与造就某种不平等。换句话说，这里牵涉到是个体意识与群体关系的区别。也许，这也是为何提倡“和谐”与人际关系的亚洲社会，从来没有办法很好地接受精神病理的原因之一。毕竟，要让精神治疗成为社会普遍接受的行为，牵涉到是全社会内在对于个体与群体的整体信仰基础。但是，从我在上海和云南参与社区服务的经验来看，确实是有许多的人，包括青少年，需要某种心理的开导，乃至药物控制的精神病治疗。我就曾遇见过一个上海的青年，3个月不出家门一步，就只愿躲在房里打游戏，而且还对母亲有暴力的行为。他是需要药物控制暴力行为的（就如我在印度时接触过患有bipolar

如果那个阳光明媚的冬天午后没有闯荡上海街头，将不会发现这城市也有让人自由挥洒创意的这么一面。 在上海街头，常常看到石灰墙漆上“建设和谐社会”、“打造文明家园，做个可爱的上海人”一系列响应国家政策的标语。似乎街头创意的表现，只局限于标语的文字玩弄上。直到涉足上海的莫干山路，意外看见沿着小路好几百米的墙上那些大胆宣示着态度的涂鸦艺术，才让我惊叹这城市的街头，原来也有个人创意表现的栖身之地。引人注目的涂鸦 这些引人注目的涂鸦，不仅以生动的图案和中英造型文字装饰着街道旁的墙壁，还跳脱出现在路灯柱子和公共厕所墙上，甚至是路边市民居住的老房子，原本爬满枯藤的灰暗墙上也因为醒目、立体的涂鸦而重现活力。涂鸦到底为古老的房子带来艺术创造或破坏，或许备受争议。但涂鸦和老房子的格格不入，却撞击出的新鲜感，可是唯独上海莫干山路可见的景象。 艺术家聚集地

事缘三位不知天高地厚的小弟小妹，决定参加了复旦登山协会的活动，在安徽牯牛（牛背的意思）降度过难忘（非常难忘）的中秋。一路冲顶，才知道什么叫天高地厚。成语的真谛用时速 -1.0m/s体会 (也无需探求这个值量的真伪，只是想说我们不是爬得像刚吃饱的蜗牛，不然就是在倒退)，其感触。。只要看看以下的照片大概就能有所领会： 瞧瞧！阿里充满哲思的表情。其中也做了一些毕生难做的事： 我们主席侠女般的跳车！ 阿彪首张“出水芙蓉”照！（真的是冷到。。。）当然路上也不乏美景，（如果你还有精力消受。。）听听，稻草的呼吸。仁者乐山，知者乐水仁者寿。。 知者乐！（而且是超乐，因为下山了！）复旦！。。。偶尔放下书，爬爬山，不但能有益身心，还能练就一身“美臀功”（如果它们还没有开花的话）。就不知道在泰山上逍遥的阿喜一队会带来什么样的爬山小贴士！
